you guys are hilarious lol. I can listen to BTGS on the sunniest, hottest fuckin day of the year, and it still strikes a chord with me.

I personally think that half of Evolver is really good, and the other half is really bad. Creatures, Crack the Code, BTGS, Still Dreaming, Other Side of Things, and Jacks are all really good songs imo. Don't Dwell isn't bad (esp. live), but the rest of the songs are pretty boring to me. The best thing about Evolver is that it's probably the best sounding album Saint produced.
The album does lack alot of standout bass though. For the most part, P-Nut just plays along with the the guitars and doesn't stand out at all as he usually does.

"311 never stand behind their accomplishments. Evolver was a prety solid record. they were acting their age on that one.. and it takes a while for the record to sink in for a lot of us. then after it gets a lukewarm response from the fans and critics.. they turn back and say they took too long. then they whip this record out and its all sloppy and mediocre.. and next time they will say how they rushed dtom and it lacked focus.

we'll just have to wait and see"
