I realize Nicks doesn't really like this song anymore and a lot of people don't like the lyrics but this song fucking rocks. Musically it's fucking solid and rocks so hard. I love this song.

I love guns and own many but i dont see the bad lyrics in them. Great ass song, would be awesome to see Nick "rap" again on stage like that.

yeah it sounds like for now (past few tours) they don't wanna play it but they will. just like they will play slinky again! goddamnit i will see them play slinky this summer...

Nick said that the song was "drudgery" for them to play. Not just the lyrics, musically as well for the whole band.

?? Negativity in the lyrics isn't a question here. He said it's drudgery to play, meaning it's not fun to play the song.

I have an idea what he means. I've been in bands that had songs I never wanted to play again just because they were boring. It's understandable.

Ummmmmmmm no. P-Nut is probably the most anti gun member of 311. He even said that he was the main inspiration for the lyrics in that song.
