Reggae

I've been getting into some of this lately, like Marley, and some that is very influenced such as The Police, The Specials, and UB40. Can anyone else suggest anything?

Half Pint is one of my personal favorites. I first heard him do a thing with long beach dub all stars.

The Heptones are my all time favorite Reggae outfit. Their Album "Night Food" is an absolute classic.

Marley is in another league though. No one has come close to being as good as he was.

Soldiers of Jah Army is a more contemporary group. The Skatalies & The Ethiopians pretty much invented reggae (well inventeed ska which later became reggae)

Heptones good. Marley isn't in another league, try Ken Boothe and let me know. The Skatalites didn't invent ska, try some Ernest Ranglin. And... The Ethiopians didn't invent ska, they're rocksteady.
