i've heard that weed can cure asthma. any truth behind this? in marley's song legalize it, he says "it cures asthma"

it relieves symptoms of asthma by relaxing muscles in the trachea and bronchi. it surely hasnt cured my asthma though.

i dont have asthma ... but my best friend and brother both have it. i think they're freakin crazy, but they both say that when they're having an attack, they take a big bong rip. it sends them in to a coughing fit, but it forces their airways open, so afterwards they can breathe........i donno.

Weeds illegal because it would shift too much power to south america. The medical industry would loose so much money on prescriptions. Marijuana can't cure any disease it just eases the pain on many diseases by allowing greater blood flow. It does lower blood pressure

how the fuck does filling your lungs with smoke (CO2 and CO abundant) fix athsma?

athsma's when you cant get enough oxygen in your system due to your lungs, if you're replacing the oxygen intake with carbon monoxide, you're just making it worse

so go ahead, smoke away

I use a vaporizer all day everyday, my asthma isn't cured.

The Smoke in marijuana has different symptoms/effects than say cigarettes do, cirgarettes have alot more chemicals and causes cancer. And I don't think Marijuana cures asthma, but it does reduce the effects of asthma, so it does help.
